How we run it

What Verve does differently here.

No handling between docks

Your freight is loaded once and unloaded once. Fewer touches means fewer claims, less damage, and a shorter transit.

Capacity in tight markets

When a lane goes short, we work our carrier network and the load boards at the same time instead of waiting for a rate to come back.

Appointment discipline

We book pickup and delivery windows against the driver's real available hours, not an optimistic guess, so the appointment holds.

Live visibility

Check calls at pickup, in transit and at delivery, plus tracking on equipped trucks, with proof of delivery back to you the same business day.

Full Truckload FAQ

Questions about full truckload.

A standard 53 foot dry van legally carries up to roughly 45,000 pounds of product, depending on the weight of the tractor and how the axles scale. Anything above about 44,000 pounds should be flagged when you request a quote so we can source a lightweight tractor and route around scale issues.

Twenty six standard 48 by 40 inch pallets fit on the floor, or up to 52 if the freight is stackable and the weight allows. Pallet count, stackability and total weight are the three numbers that set the rate.

Two to three business days is comfortable and usually earns the best rate. We cover same day and next day loads regularly, but the shorter the notice, the more the market sets the price rather than the plan.

Yes. If you have seven to eighteen pallets, a volume LTL or partial truckload move is often cheaper than a full trailer and faster than standard LTL. We quote both so you can see the difference.

Send the lane, the dates and the freight details. Most quotes go back the same business day.
