About Verve Freight
Verve Freight is a licensed freight brokerage based in The Woodlands, Texas, arranging truckload, LTL, refrigerated, flatbed, expedited and intermodal freight across the lower 48.
Our story
Most freight brokerages are built from the desk out. Somebody learns to price a lane, learns to work a load board, and the business grows from there. Verve was built from the truck out.
That difference shows up in small, unglamorous places. It shows up in a rate confirmation that names the securement requirement instead of saying "as required." It shows up in a dispatcher who knows an eleven hour drive clock does not stretch because a receiver wants a 6 AM appointment. It shows up when a driver sits for four hours and gets paid for it without a fight.
Freight is not a complicated product. It is a promise that a specific thing will be in a specific place at a specific time. Everything we do is built around keeping that promise and telling you fast when something threatens it.
We are deliberately not the biggest brokerage in Texas. We would rather be the one you call first because you already know how the load is going to go.

Verve Freight operates under active FMCSA broker authority and carries the federally required $75,000 broker surety bond. MC and DOT numbers are on our carrier packet and available on request.
Dispatch answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central.
Jamille Robbins
Founder, Verve Freight
The founder
Jamille Robbins started Verve Freight because he had spent enough time on the carrier side to know exactly how a load goes wrong, and exactly how often nobody tells the shipper until it already has.
That experience is the whole operating thesis. Rate confirmations that name the requirement instead of saying "as required." Appointments booked against a driver's real available hours rather than a receiver's wish. Detention paid when it is documented, without an argument. None of it is complicated. It is just what someone does when they have been on both ends of the phone call.
He runs Verve out of The Woodlands, north of Houston, which puts the desk in the middle of Gulf Coast petrochemical, port and building materials freight, with the I-45, I-10 and I-35 corridors all inside a day's drive.
He is also who you get when you call. Not a queue, not a rep who has to go ask. If Verve committed to something on your load, he owns it.

How we operate
Authority, insurance, safety scores and fraud checks happen before dispatch, not after a problem. Double brokering is grounds for immediate removal from our network.
If a load is going to be late, you hear it from us with the reason and the options. Silence is the only unacceptable answer.
We ask the accessorial questions up front so the number you approve is the number you pay, unless something genuinely changed at the dock.
Documented detention gets paid. Rates are honest. Carriers who take care of our shippers get first call on the freight they told us they wanted.
Proof
Owner operators and fleet owners who move freight for Verve, in their own words.
I have been running with Verve for eight months and the loads are consistent. I am not sitting waiting on a dispatcher to call me back. Payment hits when they say it will, every time.
What sold me was talking to an actual person instead of bidding blind on a load board. They know my lanes and they bring me freight that fits them.
Setup took one day and I was on my first load that week. No chasing paperwork, no surprises on the rate confirmation.
Send a lane and see how it goes. That is the only sales pitch that means anything in this business.
